Sunday, May 5, 2019, 8AM - 1PM      SIGN UP:

(Saturday, May 4, 2019 - Mural Mulching on the Manhan Rail Trail, 8:30 - 10:30)

Please note the date change to Sunday this year.  We know that many volunteers are also participating in the Pride Parade in Easthampton which is on Saturday.  We hope you will be able to join us on Sunday!

The City-Wide Clean Up Day event is organized by The Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee in partnership with the
Friends of The Manhan Rail Trail and Easthampton City Arts.

This year we are also partnering with WE "Water Walk" which begins at 1PM at White Brook Middle School track. This is a great family fundraising event.  We'll have a table there, grab a bite to eat, then carry 3 - 5 gallon jugs of water, simulating what people around the world must do without access to clean drinking water. Learn about Easthampton's award winning water, where our water comes from and what we need to do to protect it.

Areas to be cleaned include:
Cottage Street Cultural District - trash pick up, weed removal in sidewalks
Nashawannuck Pond /Boardwalk - mulching planters, weed removal, trash pick up
Union Street -  trash pick up, weed removal in sidewalks
Manhan Rail Trail - raking, mulching, trash pick up

John Bator Park
Clark St. (near brook)
Everett St. (near brook)
