Easthampton to Open Public COVID-19 Testing Locations

The City of Easthampton Health Department has teamed up with Curative to offer free public COVID-19 testing, three times a week, beginning Monday, December 6, 2021. Testing will be available on Mondays from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM, and Thursdays from 8:30 AM- 11:00 AM in Conference Room B (lower level) in City Hall, located at 50 Payson Ave. A weekend site will be offered on Saturdays from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM at Eastworks (outside of the RMV) located at 116 Pleasant St.

PCR tests will be offered at no cost, including to those without insurance. For those with insurance, your insurance company may be billed at no cost to you. Tests can be pre-scheduled, but the site will also accommodate walk-ins, while supplies last.

Health Director Bri Eichstaedt states: "I am so excited to finally have a permanent, public testing location. Unfortunately, this far into the pandemic, it can still be difficult to find COVID-19 testing in a timely manner. I hope by opening these sites, testing is more convenient for our residents and the public. We're really grateful to partner with Curative and Eastworks."
