[ARCHIVED] Small Business COVID Recovery Grants Program

In an effort to help those most affected by the pandemic, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts set aside grant funds through the Federal CARES Act for small businesses in the state. The town of Amherst has enrolled to offer grants up to $10,000 while the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission and the towns of Easthampton, Southampton, Westhampton, Hadley, Granby, South Hadley, Hatfield, Agawam, and Southwick together enrolled in this program under the name Regional Grants to offer grants up to $25,000 to local microenterprises.

Valley Community Development will oversee the application process.

Eligible applicants must:

- be a Micro-enterprise of 5 or fewer employees

- owner must be Low-Moderate income

- Regional business must be located in Easthampton, Westhampton, Southampton, Granby, Hadley, South Hadley, Hatfield, Agawam, or Southwick
