The Easthampton Department of Public Works will begin its annual system wide hydrant flushing program on April 3, 2023.
Crews will be going out Monday through Friday from 7:00AM To 11:00PM throughout the summer.
Water customers may temporarily experience low water pressure or discolored water when flushing is performed in their neighborhood. Running cold water will help clear any discoloration in the water.
The flushing program is performed as recommended by the Department of Environmental Protection to help maintain high water quality standards and also allows for fire hydrant evaluation.
