Adam Robbins Places 3rd in 2022 Massachusetts Driver Skills & Safety Event

Easthampton, MA - Adam Robbins, DPW Highway Division, placed third in the 2022 Massachusetts Highway Association Loader Operator Skills & Safety Event in Princeton, Massachusetts, on July 19th. This event is designed to demonstrate teamwork, safety awareness, and vehicle operating skills in a competitive and fun setting. The event is open to all cities and towns without having to pre-qualify at a county event.

Any employee of a highway or public works department of a city or town in Massachusetts who is in possession of a valid CDL license for the truck event and a valid 2B Hoisting license is eligible to participate. Registration is limited to no more than two teams from each city or town.

This year, there were approximately seventy (70) participants, in which Robbins placed third amongst competitors in Athol; Concord; Haverhill; Lexington; Newton; South Hadley; and Worcester, to name a few.

"Adam joined our team in the Highway Division last year and has proven himself to be an absolute asset to this Department. To place so highly in such a large field of competitors is truly a great accomplishment," said DPW Director Greg Nuttelman.

Congratulations, Adam Robbins!
