Resilience Roadshow Training: Building a Trauma Informed Community

Resilience Roadshow Training: Building a Trauma Informed Community

Trauma Informed Hampshire County, a network of individuals and organizations that are committed to educating and supporting people around trauma, will be offering a free training to increase awareness in Hampshire County about being a trauma informed community.

The training will take place on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1:00-2:30 pm on Zoom. This is open to the general public and everyone is welcome.

Please help spread the word and share this widely!

The Resilience Roadshow training is free and is also a great opportunity for administrators or managers to attend if you are wondering if this would be a good training for your staff, volunteers and/or members. We can then schedule a separate Resilience Roadshow training for your organization.

Comments from recent Roadshow trainings:

"I liked the examples you shared, the interactions between presenters, and the compassion you all shared."

"I appreciated that you were approaching the material from a holistic perspective and included talking about sustaining caregivers as well. Much of the material resonated in a personal and professional way."

"It's a big and important topic that the facilitators were able to share through the essentials. For many people on the call, I got the sense they were quite familiar with TIC, but I think this training is an excellent entry point/primer for the broader community to approach and begin to develop a more trauma-informed approach."

If you would like more information, or would like to discuss setting up a separate training, please contact: Ruth Ever, hampshiretihc@gmail.com.
