Toteman Trail
The Toteman Trail runs along the outer perimeter of Nonotuck Park. The trail takes about an hour going at a normal pace, but there are few areas where the juttings that meet Nashawannuck Pond that are perfect for a picnic or fishing. You will see plenty of critters and birds on the trail, if you're lucky you may spot the crane! In certain lower points where the water meets the trail it'll be a little buggy and wet after a rain. The trail is on the thinner side in parts so generally it's a single file hike. This trail is shady and peaceful and feels miles away from the busyness inside the park but you can exit the trail almost at any point by turning right back into the park. There also runners and bikers who use the trail. Be Safe and Happy Hiking.
