Veterans Affairs

On Veterans Day 2017, Chief Robert Alberti proudly announced the appointment Veterans Affairs Liaison Officer. This was a new position within our organization at that time. Our current Veterans Affairs Liaisons are Officer Robert Pouska and Detective Ryan Murphy.

Responsibilities

Officer Pouska and Detective Murphy work in collaboration with our Veterans Council, the American Legion, the VFW, the Veterans Administration and other social service agencies to ensure that our veterans get all of the support and services they need.

When a call for service involves a Veteran, Officer Pouska and Detective Murphy are the go-to officers, are assigned to the case if available, and will conduct follow-ups.

Personal Connection

Both Armed Forces Veterans, Officer Pouska served with the United States Navy and Detective Murphy served with the United States Marine Corps. Through interagency collaboration and dedication to service, both officers are committed to assisting our Veterans who currently serve, or have previously served, our great nation.
